Reigate Priory C C

Macdonald Design were appointed by Reigate Priory C C to work on a redesign of their existing pavilion. The clubhouse was originally constructed in the 1920s as a timber building. Consequently, the clubhouse is a building of some significance in the local area and any redesign would need to retain the character and look of the original pavilion whilst adopting some more contemporary modifications.

Following detailed consultation with the club and then the local conservation officer a new design has been adopted and is illustrated above. This maintains the look and feel of the existing building as much as possible whilst introducing more changing space, a new balcony and some sliding windows to the player/spectator viewing area. The project was submitted to Planning in June 2012.
